VIOLIN SCHEDULE AND FEES

Violin lesson times are arranged privately and are given on an individual basis. The introductory  lesson is $10 and will provide the chance for us to become acquainted with each other and discuss your future progress. If you are not a beginner please bring any music that you have and prepare a scale and a piece. Please phone Laura on 604 730 5418.

$23 per 30 minutes (Beginner level)

$35 per 45 minutes ( Intermediate Level)

$50 per 1 hour (Advanced Level)

STUDIO POLICY

• All lessons must be paid for atleast one month in advance.
•  A minimum of 24 hours notice must be given in order to cancel a lesson
• One months notice must be given to discontinue lessons

FIDDLE TRICKS GROUP CLASS

Fiddle tricks is  a group violin class, which takes place once a fortnight alongside the students indinvidual lesson. With an emphasis on enjoyment, the classes aim to develop technical, musical and listening skills through games and tricks. A chamber music concert is performed at the end of each academic year. In the Colourstrings method, group teaching is given an important place alongside individual tuition from the early stages as it provides a source of inspiration and motivation, encouraging the children to practice and interact with each other as they share the fun and experience of making music as an ensemble.

RECITALS

All students are given the opportunity to perform solos at informal recitals and take part in chamber music and musical games days. Formal recitals take place towards the end of each academic year.
